The village is situated near the torrent, in a slope of
the hill faced up to the midday. The castle, located in the highest part of the
villa, and the church at the low part, are the buildings that define the
beautiful sight of the village.
The ancient nucleus preserve the traditional houses
typology, painted or stuccoed, that let us see the architectonic elements,
façanes, large windows, grilles, balconies and rests of the decorative
paintings of different periods. The entrance halls are a testimony of which
there still are some old villa lefts.

MONUMENTS AND PLACES OF
INTEREST

THE ROSER'S HERMITAGE - Located
in lands near the torrent, it was constructed by Guillem Godó, teacher of
houses. The hermitage was constructed with contributions of the council, the
director and diverse individuals, being blessed in 1566.
The French painter Jean Bas, performed the mysteries of
the string in a wonderful altarpiece dated from 1580, that headlines the high
altar. The structure is formed by one nave with underpinned.
In 1925, the modernist architect J.M. Jujol, made a
significant restoration and decoration of the hermitage.
