MONUMENTS AND PLACES OF INTERESTTHE MONT-RAL VILLAGE - The building that gives more identity to the villa is the parrochial church of Sant Pere ad Vincula, patron saint of the village. The main structure of the building and the lateral façade belong to the Romanesque style. The bell tower was built in the XVIII century when the building was reformed. Next to the church we shall see the ruins of the medieval abbey. FARENA - It is an inhabited nucleus, located at the widening of the Brugent river. The houses that form the village are restored and have kept the original form of the closed villa. The Sant Andreu's Church, originally of the Romanesque period, headlines the village. Inside this church we may enjoy the mural decoration that Anton Català, painter of Alcover, did in 1946. EL BOSQUET AND AIXÀVIGA- We shall arrive from Mont-ral, following the Mussara state highway. El Bosquet is placed under the rocky wall of Motllats and it is done of a dozen of rural architecture houses. Very closed to this place, where the Sec River and the Fresca Fountain converge, there is the Aixàviga village. It is formed by only one street and by very well preserved stone houses. A medieval house highlights because of its façane and its large windows. It was the summer residence of the count of Prades. RESTAURANTS
