The village is placed in a small hill next to the plains if the Francolí river. The term is dominated by irrigated lands, thanks to the wells that have allowed having a significant flow of water. There are vegetable gardens and fruit trees, but the most important cultivation is the hazel. Olive trees, vines and almond trees take up the dry lands. The main street is the historical axis of the village; its old houses and the castle suggest us a farm village image, open to the country field and the nature. All these elements give a singular appearance to the landscape, ordered by farming's, unevenness and ways. MONUMENTS AND PLACES OF INTEREST
The church of Santa Úrsula is a neogothic building constructed at the beginning of this century, as the older church was destroyed by a cyclone in 1909. It's done of one nave only. The bell tower, located on the façane, makes a tower with long stained glass windows. The stylistics traits of this gothic recreation are combined with stuccoes and stone at the façane. THE CASTLE - This building preserves the typology of a big farming house; and has an amazing Renaissance façane against the main entrance and a lateral chapel. The first floor is open with stained glass windows and cloisters brightened by a file of little arcades. LINKS
